Executive – Quality Control

The company acts as the exclusive agent in Sri Lanka for many reputed Baby care and Toy brands including Farlin, Lego and Hot wheels to name a few. Its’ mission is to ensure kids within the country experience the same satisfaction and joy that kids across the world experience.

As an integral part of the team, the Quality Control Executive helps define and carry out appropriate tests and inspections to confirm a product’s compliance with quality standards. Inspecting incoming materials and documenting test results are also important parts of the job.

Duties & responsibilities

Perform incoming goods inspections. Inspect products by confirming specifications, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
Identify problems regarding the quality of the products and make recommendations to Procurement Manager.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste, input data into the quality database, and plot test results on a graph.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
Ability to meet quality standards such as ISO 9001

Expectations

Ability to analyze, document, and report research results.
Basic math, communications, and interpersonal skills required..
Promote process improvement and be a team player.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Attention to detail and quality of work are essential.
Prior experience required.
