Web Administrator

DCS International (Pvt) Ltd seeks a talented and experienced Web Administrator to manage our e-commerce site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms and a strong understanding of web development technologies. Exposure to MySQL and PostgreSQL is an added advantage.

Duties & responsibilities

Manage and maintain the e-commerce site using an enterprise CMS platform
Basic housekeeping of LAMP servers
Liaise with both local and overseas stakeholders on the work assignments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the website and its components
Regularly update the website with new products, services, and content
Optimize the website for search engines and ensure it is user-friendly
Collaborate with the development team to ensure the website is up to date with the latest technologies and features.

Qualifications & experience

2+ years of experience in web administration and development
Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms
Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
Exposure to database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
Professional certifications like RHCE, RHCSA, etc., will be an added advantage.
Experience with website optimization for search engines
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online payment gateways
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with the development team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
