Nabhan Akeel serves as the Chairman/Group Managing Director of LIMRA Holdings Limited, a multi-national, diversified conglomerate with a portfolio of 18 subsidiaries, and footprint across 6 industries, spanning 8 countries.

He is a visionary, self-made chief architect, and a highly motivated and resourceful senior level executive with a track record of consistently exceeding revenue, profit, and business growth goals, even in challenging, fast-paced environments.

He has extensive experience with highly engineered systems, which necessitates a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers in a variety of markets and industries. He excels at establishing relationships with senior-level decision-makers, seizing control of critical problem areas, and meeting customer obligations. He has led and expanded four IT companies, as well as organizations in the Mother & Baby care, Toys, Retail, Power & Energy, and Ecommerce industries, and transformed them into dynamic and progressive organizations.

Having graduated with a degree in engineering from Moratuwa University in Sri Lanka, he has also amassed extensive expertise in the areas of management, accounting, and logistics over the course of nearly 30 years of corporate experience, all the while forging fruitful connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders from around the globe.

A seasoned and successful corporate executive with exposure and experience gained in covering 13 Industries such as Information Technology, BPO, Shipping, Consumer Electronics, Domestic Appliances, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Education, Mother & Baby care, Retail, Activated Carbon, Mobile and Apparel, today holds the roles of Non-Executive Independent Director in the largest Finance and Leasing company in Sri Lanka, and Director cum Chief Strategy Officer, in LIMRA Holdings Limited, with a track record of producing, presenting and managing the implementation of innovative business solutions.

He is highly motivated with a proven ability to develop people and commercialize all aspects of a business, with a wealth of exposure and experience in converting opportunity into success and of driving profit and growth. Well networked and highly successful in implementing business process improvements, defining company direction, achieving goals, change and optimizing business procedures. Much loved by his colleagues and superiors for his innate practicality when it comes to Strategic Management and Marketing, having spearheaded diverse portfolios and campaigns throughout his vast career; he is adored by his subordinates for his understanding, oversight and democratic leadership style, and is easily a mentor form any new entrants into the dynamic field of marketing.

Rizwan can be constantly seen taking initiative in driving any project to reach its completion, much ahead of the deadline. Non-Executive Director

Among his many areas of expertise, as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of LIMRA Holdings Ltd, he advises and directs the group on business aspects with a specialization on Legal, Corporate Governance and Compliance.

Keerthi Pathiraja is an Attorney-at-Law, called to the Bar in 2004. He is currently working as the Head of Legal / Company Secretary (Assistant Vice President) at Nestle Lanka PLC since January 2016, prior to which he was the Head of Legal and Board Secretary at Laugfs Group of Companies. His expertise originates from demonstrated history of working in diversified industries.

Skilled in Litigation, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Advocacy through industry associations, Negotiations, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Governance, Corporate and Capital Market Laws, Food and Consumer Laws. Strong business development professional with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) focused in International Business Law of Cardiff Metropolitan University and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of West London. As a Non-Executive Director to the Board of LIMRA Holdings Ltd, Mr. Keerthi would advise and direct the group all business aspects with a specialization on Legal, Corporate Governance, Compliance and many other areas with his expertise.

He is currently the Executive Director of Finance and a member of the Board of Directors of Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd.

Niroshan graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka and has an Executive MBA from the University of West London. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). Niroshan volunteers as a mentor at several educational institutions outside of work.

With more than 18 years of experience, and a formal background in Engineering, paired with his exceptional ability of Public Speaking, he made a new head-to-head definition to the smart security industry and a significant changeover to it.

With the special skill of Electronics and IT Engineering, and holding a Bachelor of Science (Electronic) degree from University of Kelaniya and bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) degree (Level 2) from University of Colombo, Kaushalya Setunga started his career life as an Electronics and Computer Engineering lecturer (Part time) in London Business School and Arthur C Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies. After completing his Engineering in plant training, he worked as a Senior Engineer cum Asst. Service Manager (IT) in a well-established company in Sri Lanka.

Thereafter he has joined Digital House (Pvt) Ltd in 2010, which was the founder company of LIMRA Holdings Limited as Service and Engineering Manager and formed Digital Engineering Solutions (PVT) Ltd as a subsidiary under of LIMRA Holdings. After being continuously recognized as a high performer, in 2019 he was promoted as the Director of Digital Engineering Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. In 2023, after a merger, he took the helm of DCS International (Pvt) Ltd as its Director.

He counts over 19 years of corporate experience with industry experience spanning across Consumer Electronics, Telecommunications, Mother & Baby Care, and Diversified Conglomerates, in Sri Lanka and UK.

Asvine Ganeshan is a Director of Strides Tech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, the newest venture of LIMRA Holdings. Asvine has been associated with LIMRA Holdings for more than 14 years, of which he has spent a majority holding Managerial positions heading strategic business units. He was one of the key players in developing the company Kiddies and Toys International (Pvt) Ltd, and has helped it grow from its inception to becoming a market leader in the Mother & Baby Care sector.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Whilst in UK, he worked at Vodafone, where he was responsible for overall training and coaching of the technical department for Vodafone in UK and Egypt. He was awarded numerous performance-based accolades during his time there.

Ajantha is the CEO of KTI. He counts over 18 years of corporate experience in varied industries including Mother & Baby care, Toys, Software Development, and BFSI. Being a visionary leader, Ajantha has shown immense skills in providing solutions to critical business issues, risk mitigation, innovation, conceptualization, strategic decision making, operations, and people management through honesty and integrity. He was the key strategist behind KTI’s growth and expansion plan, and was instrumental in making KTI the market leader it is today, in the category of branded mother & baby care accessories. He drives KTI’s business vision on building and inculcating KTI’s values and culture focusing on making it a family bonded, emotionally attached company with all of its stakeholders. Some of his long-term objectives for the company are to be ranked within the top 100 companies in Sri Lanka, whilst contributing to the goal of pushing the holding company to be listed within the top 10 companies in Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK (FCMA) and has over 17 years of success in leading all aspects of new business start-ups, growth, strategic business planning, and finance and accounting functions across diverse companies, from start-ups to blue-chip organizations. He has delivered outstanding commercial results for leading local and global organizations, including those in FMCG, Business Services, B2B, Export Oriented, and Audit and Risk Assurance sectors.

His progressive history includes setting up a business office and leading projects to transition work into Malaysia, encompassing process improvements, standardization, business partnering, and sustainability in 2015. Handpicked from a global pool of applicants, he was the only member outside New Zealand to join the Advisory Board for the Office of CFO via Millennial Council, advising on future growth plans and current issues. Known as a champion for change, he has credentials in delivering next-generation financial solutions, transformations, and innovation initiatives, leading process improvements and automation, and working with technologies like ERP Implementation, SAP, and JD Edwards.

He is distinguished as a chartered logistician, having graduated from the charted international institute of Logistics and transport UK. Additionally he holds a diploma in supply chain management from CINEC Maritime University. Furthermore, he has enriched his skillset with Diploma in Marketing management and Sales Management from the Asia Education Vocational Faculty.

Mr. Kodithuwakku holds a Diploma in Logistics and Distribution Management from The National Institute of Business Management, further solidifying his knowledge and skills in the industry. With a comprehensive understanding of the entire import process, he adeptly manages aspects such as shipment coordination, insurance tariff planning, and loading and unloading operations. Mohammed Farook Akram is the Group Head of Credit Control & Recoveries in LIMRA Holdings Limited with almost 19 years of experience in Accounts & Operations field. He is a qualified member under Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka and a member of society of certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.

He started his career as an Account Assistant in Digital House (Pvt) Ltd in 2005 and within very short period of time he got promoted within the Group as an Assistant Accountant to Kiddies and Toys International Pvt Ltd. He progressed as Senior Manager – Accounts Operations in overlooking the full process within the Department. Being a qualified, well experienced and loyal member of the group, he was given the opportunity to take up a new challenge as the Head of Group Credit Control.

Nauseer Ahamed is the Group Finance Manager of LIMRA Holdings. He has over 14 years of experience in Management and Finance with a consistent track record of successfully managing teams. He has vast exposure as an Accountant and as a Finance Manager through his career and currently overlooking the Group Finance Department, Group ERP and CDU Unit with his expertise.

He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Professional Member of ICMA Australia. He has completed his executive education on Business Administration from the Faculty of Business and Finance – University of Colombo in 2014, later obtained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Wolverhampton-UK.

Nilantha Hettiarachchi

Group Manager – Audit & Assurance

Nilantha Hettiarachchi is the Group Manager of Audit and Assurance, tasked with managing all operations handled under the Internal Audit and Operations of LIMRA Holdings Limited, and holds over 14 years’ experience in the fields of Audit and Accounts.

He is a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, is qualified in AAT, and is a part-qualified Chartered Business Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. His main areas of expertise comprise of Audit Cycle Process and Operations, Risk and Control Management, Analytics and Finance.

He began his career as an Accounts Assistant and thereafter practiced as an Audit Assistant in a reputed audit firm. His overall experience and proven track record in helping growing businesses has now led him to be an integral part of the group’s Management team.
