KTI India is a fully owned subsidiary of LIMRA Holdings based in India under the mother and babycare cluster. The company services the SAARC and EMEA Region with state-of-the-art distribution cum licensing franchisee of Mother & Baby Care Products, and Branded Toys on exclusive basis with globally renown brands.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports on timely manner. Will be working Closely with Group recovery & Credit control, Compliance, Budgetary Control and operation teams to achieve the Accounting & Finance objective of the subsidiary and group. Will be reporting the organization’s finances to management, closely coordinating with Sri Lankan office and offers suggestions about resource utilization and effectively managing the cash flows.

Duties & responsibilities

Providing financial information to management by analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
Leading finance operation team and prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Attending management meetings and implementing the recommendations made by management
Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; responsible for preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, reconciliations and other reports on time.
Managing Cashflow efficiently, Finalizing Collection Target, Scheduling payments, Facilities management & coordinating with financial institutions.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guide Group recovery & Credit control, Compliance, Budgetary Control and operation team by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Complying with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Carrying out other assigned tasks and objectives on long- or short-term basis as per the business requirements assigned by the LIMRA Holdings Chairman/ Company CEO / HODs.

Qualifications & Experience

University Degree in Accounting/ Finance
Fully or Partly professionally qualified.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in accounting field & minimum 2 – 3 years working experience in similar capacity.
A team player with high level of integrity, excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
